Lady Gaga’s Vogue Cover Released, Additional ’60 Minutes’ Footage Leaked

As Lady Gaga gears up for the anticipated release of her single “Born This Way” tomorrow, the interest level is nearing a zenith today after Vogue released its cover image of the star. The image is striking and the “Just Dance” singer gave a full interview to the venerable fashion glossy, in which she reveals new details about her hotly anticipated full record (also titled “Born This Way”).

She describes one song, “Americano,” as a “big mariachi techno-house record, where I am singing about immigration law and gay marriage and all sorts of things that have to do with disenfranchised communities in America.”

The lady also spills more details regarding the new disc, which is slated for a May release, including a slew of song titles (with names such as “Hair,” “Bad Kids,” and “Government Hooker”).

But before America can hear “Bad Kids,” and other album tracks, they will get their first taste of Gaga’s new material Friday, when “Born This Way” works its way onto radio stations nationwide.

“It is a completely magical message song,” Gaga told Vogue. “And after I wrote it, the gates just opened, and the songs kept coming,” she continued.

“It was like an immaculate conception.”

Sunday, the singer will appear on 60 Minutes with Anderson Cooper right before the Grammy Awards air. A second teaser of the sit down with the CNN newsman was just released in which the singer reveals that she prefers to be called “Stefani” in bed, thank you very much, to Cooper.

“Nothing has changed since I have become a star,” she told Vogue while adding she has the same group of friends and that she still hangs at the same bars in New York. “I am quite down-to-earth for such an eccentric person.”
