The World Health Organization (WHO) has described the new Kovid-19 variant found last month in Britain as more dangerous. According to the organization, the variant found in Britain has so far spread to 70 countries. This virus is more deadly because it spreads faster than the old virus. The WHO has also released its weekly report in this regard.

The organization has named this variant B.1.1.7 or VOC 202012/01. It is a matter of relief that cases of this new variant have come down sharply in Britain, Denmark, Ireland and the Netherlands.

The variant found in Britain is different from the variant found in South Africa. According to the WHO, the variant found in South Africa does not spread as fast as the variant found in the UK. The variant found in South Africa has reached 31 countries.
